Amalie Joris Nygren joined the team at Maui Makeup Artistry in the summer of 2017. Originally from New Mexico, she traded in the dry desert for the tropical beaches of Maui and she couldn't be happier. After graduating from cosmetology school she honed her skills as a hair and makeup artist working alongside some of the best talent in the Houston, Texas wedding industry. Being a licensed cosmetologist, Amalie specializes in hair & make up as well as being a talented eye lash extension specialist. Amalie has experience working with brides across the United States from Boston, Utah , Arizona to now beautiful Hawaii and enjoys working with an array of clients. While she loves a glam look, she enjoys everything from a natural, fresh face look to the utmost glam or bohemian aesthetic. Amalie thrives on bringing out the inner beauty within her clients and attaining a look that reflects their best self on their special day.
